Waskis Dry Martini Kit
James Bond introduced the vodka martini to us but while the gin martini will always be the original (and you can simply replace the vodka with gin in this recipe to make one), the vodka version made with this local premium spirit is something truly enjoyable. Especially when made dirty. Everyone has their own taste for a martini, this how we prefer it ourselves.
Before you make, chill a martini glass or tumbler in the freezer for 30 minutes. Temperature is essential with a martini. To make, half-fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add 2 shots of vodka and a 1/2 shot of vermouth. Shake gently for 20 seconds but well enough to properly chill and mix. Strain into the chilled glass. Garnish with a toothpick spiked with 3 olives. If you want to make a dirty martini, simply include a teaspoon of olive brine to the mixture before shaking. For a filthy martini, add two teaspoons brine!
