Bread+Butter Old Fashioned


Our local twist on the classic Old Fashioned cocktail, with bread+butter XO bourbon cask-aged brandy replacing bourbon as the primary ingredient. It’s the perfect digestiv cocktail after a good dinner, the sharpness cleaning the palate and readying you for, well, maybe a second Old Fashioned.

To make, mix 1/2 teaspoon sugar with a teaspoon of water and 3 dashes of Angostura bitters in a tumbler until dissolved together. Fill with ice, add bread+butter XO and stir for a minute to mix flavours well and slightly dilute. Squeeze an orange peel over the top and drop in as garnish.
