From a single vineyard west of Malmesbury planted in 1987 – bush vines and dry grown. Farmed without pesticides or herbicides since 2009. 100% whole bunch fermentation for about 2 weeks and it spends 1 week post ferment on the skins and stems. Aged in 4000L Foudre (Old French oak). Ageing was done for 9 months on the gross lees after which the wine was bottled. No filtering or fining.
A crunchy, earthy Cinsaut with tension and freshness.
